Edward Jones has been a part of my family since 1984, when my dad joined the firm as a financial advisor. Growing up around his office has so many fond childhood memories for me. At their annual appointments, his clients would ask about how my sisters and I were. We grew up in front of their eyes.
Growing up in Newton and graduating from Wichita State, I always knew I wanted to help people. In 2007, I became a branch office administrator with Edward Jones, working in an office in Wichita. This was my chance to make a difference. As a branch office administrator, I was helping people every day, making their experience with Edward Jones an easy and enjoyable one. When Dad started to think about retirement, I embarked on the months of study and hard work to step into the role of financial advisor. Following in my father's footsteps has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. I hear stories of how he helped his clients reach their most important goals, and now I get to do the same thing. How lucky am I?
My husband, James, and I have two children together, and I have been blessed with four grown bonus children. I have served the firm as a secondary recruiting leader, women and diversity inclusion leader and culture of compliance leader. Currently, I serve the firm as the Area WINGS Leader.
At Edward Jones, we are family. We focus on serving the financial needs of individual investors of all ages and financial means. We have built our business by treating our clients as we would want to be treated, a simple idea that still makes sense in today’s complex marketplace.
