I began working with Edward Jones in the fall of 1993 after graduating from the University of Virginia. Like many graduates, I was searching for my calling; both my parents and my wife, Laura, are educators, so you might say teaching is in my blood. Knowing that making solid financial choices is something everyone needs to learn, but very few actually do, my passion for teaching became a conduit for helping clients reach their goals. This is how I began my amazing journey with Edward Jones to partner with clients and help them make informed financial decisions.
At our Edward Jones practice, we put our clients' interests first. We believe it's important to invest time in understanding your situation and your investment goals before investing your money. Put simply, we want to know what's important to you. Once we've identified your goals, I use an established process to build customized strategies to help you achieve them. With your strategy in place, we partner throughout your life to help keep you on track and make adjustments when necessary or when life's unexpected turns get in the way.
I grew up in Bedford, Virginia and met my wife, Laura, in Charlottesville, VA. We have two children, Turner and Sarah; two dogs, Gracie and Phoebe; and two cats, Mia and Seven; and live in Elon, NC. Both of my parents are Alamance County natives and we have been active in the community since 1997. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time walking, golfing, reading, thinking, traveling, volunteering and relaxing at Hyco Lake.
