Can you confidently answer the following five questions when it comes to your financial goals:
"Where am I today?"
"Where would I like to be?"
"Can I get there?"
"How do I get there?"
"How can I stay on track?"
There was a time, when I was a single mom, that these questions scared me. I didn't even know where to start, as I was often overwhelmed and worried about finances and didn't know what the future would hold. I was good at saving money but not building wealth, and I was intimidated by the word "financial advisor". When I finally decided to begin working with Edward Jones, I realized that not only did my advisor care about my future, he cared about me.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, I was a 25-year human resources professional. I found that fostering relationships was key regardless of job level, wealth or education. Through those relationships, I had a desire to help employees succeed professionally, personally and financially.
Fast forward a few years, that same advisor who built my first portfolio saw the passion inside of me to help others in the same way he helped me. By listening to my clients, I am able to understand what is important to them financially. Using an established process, I believe financial strategies should be tailored to your unique needs and goals and not generically based on guidelines for someone your age or at your stage of life.
While my clients come from a variety of backgrounds, I have a special place in my heart reserved for helping women, whether they're married or recently responsible for managing their wealth on their own due to divorce, the loss of a loved one or simply retirement. I've been there and I will help you through it.
When you call or visit my office, you will be promptly greeted by my assistant or myself, not an automated service or call center.
Outside of Edward Jones, I am a lifelong learner, a morning person, an aspiring photographer, painter and a travel enthusiast. I am married to my husband, David, and we have three children, Aaron (married to Samantha), Will and Evan.
