I believe that there is no higher calling than service to the people of my community. My clients entrust me with responsibility as their financial advisor, and I am honored to have that trust.
A little about me is that I grew up in Oklahoma and developed a passion for serving others at a young age. My sense of duty and patriotism sparked when I joined Boy Scouts and volunteered in the community. This sense of patriotism drove me to serve in the Army.
I graduated from West Point and joined the Army as a field artillery officer. West Point instilled a strong work ethic and desire to serve a purpose greater than myself. I decided to leave the military with an honorable discharge in August 2017 after a deployment to Afghanistan and fulfilling my commitment to the country.
Switching from the fast-paced environment of military leadership to a corporate role was incredibly challenging. My first corporate job was cut short due to a layoff after a year of working at the company. The layoff was a sign to do something I am passionate about, so I joined Edward Jones. I discovered my passion for adding value to people's lives in order to be happy in my career.
Constantly striving to increase my knowledge base of finances, investment strategies and economic influences, I graduated from Texas A&M with a Master of Jurisprudence degree, and then earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation. I help my clients make the emotional and financial transition to retirement, get the most out of Social Security benefits and achieve estate objectives.
My clients choose me because I build a personal connection, empathetically listen to their situation, use a goals-based process and provide tailored advice to help keep their financial goals on track.
My wife and I married in 2018. We have two dogs: a black lab named Bo, and a bully mix named Bear. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, volunteering with veteran's organizations and playing golf – even though I am a work-in-progress! I currently have the honor of serving as the chairman of the Frisco Veterans Advisory Committee for the Mayor and City Council and as Trustee in the Frisco VFW.
