I believe in service before self and understand that there is no higher calling than service to the people of my community. My clients entrust me with the responsibility of the financial advisor role, and I am honored to have that trust.
A little about me is that I grew up in Oklahoma and developed a passion for serving others at a young age. My sense of duty and patriotism sparked when I joined Boy Scouts and volunteered in the community.
I graduated from West Point and joined the Army as a field artillery officer after a four-year military college education. West Point instilled a strong work ethic and desire to serve a purpose greater than myself. I decided to leave the military with an honorable discharge in August 2017 after fulfilling my commitment to the country.
As you can imagine, switching from the fast-paced environment of military leadership to a corporate role was incredibly challenging. My first corporate job was cut short due to a layoff after a year of working at the company. The layoff was a sign to do something I am passionate about, so I joined Edward Jones. I discovered my burning desire to add value to people's lives in order to be happy in my career.
My wife and I married in 2018. We have two dogs: a black lab named Bo, and a grumpy looking English bulldog named Friday. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with veteran's organizations, spending time with my wife, running and playing golf – even though I am a work-in-progress!
I graduated from Texas A&M with a Master of Jurisprudence degree, and earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. I help my clients make the emotional and financial transition to retirement, get the most of out Social Security benefits and achieve estate objectives.
My clients choose me because I build a personal connection, empathetically listen to their situation and provide tailored advice to help keep their financial goals on track.
Give me a call. I am ready to listen.
