At 8 years old, most kids were outside throwing a baseball with their dad. I was reading the Wall Street Journal with mine. I did learn to throw a baseball, eventually, but the time with my father set me up for a lifetime of investing and studying of financial markets, which became my passion.
I have spent nearly 30 years following this passion, and have worked in banks and brokerage firms all over the world, including Hong Kong, Japan, England and the U.S. After returning to the U.S. with my wife and son, we settled in Henderson, NV, and I was happy to join the Edward Jones family in 2015.
My ideal client is the serious investor who is looking for a partner to guide them through major life changes. This could be a marriage, divorce, saving for a child's education, or planning for retirement or an estate. No two situations are the same, and I value my relationship with each one of my clients. I work with each client to find a strategy unique to their situation, and my branch office administrator, Erin, and I strive to provide the most ideal client experience that we can. People deserve to work with a financial advisor who cares and offers the advice you need, not someone who wants to sell you something.
In order to better serve current and new clients, I have obtained the AAMS and CRPC professional designations. I love studying the market, but in order to stay up to date on changing practices, I felt it necessary to further my education beyond my MBA.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and son. Hiking, fishing, golf, biking and pickleball are some of our favorite things to do.
