With 25 years' experience as a financial advisor, my optimism for the future remains stronger than ever as I guide my clients through just about every possible scenario that life (and the markets) can bring our way. Each client is its own unique, valued relationship, and I re-dedicate myself each day to ensuring they feel understood, informed and in control of their financial future.

I partner with clients throughout the country, including individual investors, medical professionals, small- and medium-sized business owners and high-net-worth families with complex needs. I draw upon an established processes when developing my clients' financial strategies using logic, discipline and accountability to help them achieve results. While the world of investing can be a serious business, I make it a priority to help my clients enjoy our work along the way. Quality investments and a diversified portfolio are important – but a sense of humor, optimism and fun can also go a long way in achieving one's goals.

Successfully helping my clients and delivering a superior level of service is truly a team effort, and I could not do this without the tremendous contributions, experience, and skills of our Edward Jones team:
- Amy Ransler, Registered Branch Associate, a 24-year Edward Jones veteran.
- Jennifer Young, Senior Branch Office Administrator, who joined Edward Jones in 2004.
- Chelsea Elliott, Branch Office Administrator, came to our team in March 2020.

I have served in many volunteer roles in my community, including the board of directors for the Visser YMCA, Grandville Rotary and Grandville-Jenison Chamber of Commerce. I have also served on the Grandville Library Fundraising Committee and conducted presentations on behalf of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.

I am a strong advocate of lifelong learning, beginning with my bachelors and master's degrees in chemistry from Indiana University and Butler University. In the years since, I have earned the AAMS® designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, as well as completing Harvard University's Competitive Strategies in Financial Services curriculum.

Outside the office, I am an avid outdoors enthusiast, and I enjoy bicycling, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, competitive shooting sports and travel. I have two beautiful daughters, Kathryn and Claire, who keep me humble.
