I remember the feeling of pride I felt when I was 10 years old and my parents took me to open a savings account. I had saved money from doing chores and I wanted to earn interest on my money. I was given a savings book and each time I deposited money into my account, the balance would print in my little blue book along with the interest I had accumulated. Wow! Free money I thought.
Later, I learned about the time value of money while earning my bachelor's in finance at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and also at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where I earned my master's in finance. I learned that interest is your friend as a saver and can be your worst enemy as a borrower.
As an Edward Jones financial advisor since 2002, I do everything I can to help make sure my clients reach their financial goals. I sit down with them and understand what is important to them and what they are trying to accomplish, whether it is retirement, saving for a loved one's college or estate considerations. I work in helping pre-retirees and newly retired individuals consolidate their assets to generate income in retirement.
I use an established process and build personalized strategies to align with my clients' objectives. I am their guide as I partner with them through their journey and keep them on track. My goal is to provide the ideal client experience for each individual, family and business owner.
I've been able to help so many people throughout my career and I can't wait to meet new folks that also need my help. I am fortunate to serve the Garden Oaks/Oak Forest/Shady Acres area of Houston.
I am the father of two teenage boys and have been married to my wife, Cara, since 2003. We love to travel and experience new cultures and our boys have grown up travelling with us.
My hobbies include homebrewing, gardening and being active. I look forward to getting to know you and your interests, and how I can use my knowledge and experience to improve your life.
