When I was a student at MSU, my finance professor challenged and inspired me, and I knew immediately that I wanted to work in the investment industry. Growing up in Montana had given me a love of the outdoors and I wanted my children to be able to play in cold mountain creeks, have chance encounters with wildlife and enjoy the outdoors in the changing seasons. Edward Jones, the company I love, has given me the opportunity to have all of that and I get to serve families by helping them achieve their dreams and goals.

Growing up, our family faced some pretty lean years as my parents worked hard to start and build their small garage door business in Billings, MT. Working with my dad installing garage doors taught me a strong work ethic and a healthy fear of wobbly ladders. Paying for college wasn't easy, so I worked while I went to school and did construction labor in the summer. I still think about that when meeting with clients, being conscious with great care about how hard their family has worked to get them where they are today.

Together with my branch office administrators, Elysa Nelson and Karen Anderson, we serve a select number of families by providing tailored strategies based on the unique needs of each family. Our process and skillset lend itself best to individual investors, business owners and successful professionals who often times have more complex needs. When we're not helping clients achieve their personalized financial goals, we're raising kids and sharing the love of the outdoors.

My wife, Amanda, and I are raising our three children: Wyatt, Kenley and Dorothy. They have a great sense of humor, do well in school and two of them actually like going to school. Amanda worked hard putting herself through the University of Wyoming, becoming the first college graduate in her family, and works as a CPA.
