Born and raised in a small farm town in Nebraska, Dan finds his roots in hard work and strong core ethical beliefs. He has lived in South Carolina since 2000, when the Army assigned him to Fort Jackson. He served over 22 years in the military (12 years on active duty in the U. S. Army, and 10 years in the South Carolina National Guard).

Dan holds a Dual Major Masters Degree, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who has been with Edward Jones since October 2003. He believes in creating custom portfolios for his customers which focus on their long term financial goals. He works to build strong personal relationships with this clients, learning not just about their money and their investments, but striving to understand their life goals and what's important to them. It's not surprising that he counts many of his clients among his friends.

Dan and his wife of nearly 30 years live on a farm just south of Columbia, where they breed and raise AQHA quarter horses. He enjoys traveling, college football, and spending time with his two adult children who live nearby.
