I was instilled with the importance of financial responsibility at a young age. My grandfather lost his life due to financial distress during the Great Depression, and I was raised with the difficult lessons learned and the value of frugality. This situation motivated me to study investing and to earn and save early in my life. My interest developed into a passion for educating people on how they can live a financially secure life.
Applying an established process, I begin by helping my clients define their values and goals. I then build and implement tailored financial strategies. Once the strategies are in place, I partner with my clients throughout their lives to help keep them on track. As a comprehensive service, I regularly collaborate with my clients' CPAs and attorneys, always respecting confidentiality.
I am proud to serve a variety of clients. Many of my clients are pre-retirees and retirees whose strategies allow them to live the lives they have imagined. I also work with multi-generational families to develop strategies to manage their wealth and with entrepreneurs to address their unique needs.
To pay for college, I joined the military after high school and served in the US Army as an Air Defense Specialist. I went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 1999 and am a limited partner. To better serve my clients, I earned the CFP® professional designation. In 2021, I qualified for the Edward Jones Financial Advisor Leaders Conference, which recognizes financial advisors who are among the leaders in the firm and provide ideas to help serve more individual investors in their communities.
Within Edward Jones, I have served as a performance leader and a recruiting leader. I am active in my community and dedicate my time to the Plymouth Rotary Club, the Northville Chamber of Commerce and other charitable organizations. In my free time, I enjoy golf, piano and reading.
