Before becoming a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I was fortunate enough to have family members show me the value of planning for my future beginning at a young age. From my grandmother opening my first savings account to my mother depositing half of every paycheck from my first job into my college savings, I was lucky enough to have my family’s guidance as I started building my finances. Now, as a financial advisor, I get to give my clients that same level of support every day.
As your financial advisor, it’s my job to help you take the steps necessary to achieve your financial goals, whatever they are. This means that my priority is to partner with you to fully understand your goals and needs so that we can build a personalized strategy to help you reach them. As your neighbor, I truly believe that when you are succeeding, our community benefits in a way that makes a positive impact for generations to come.
With clients from Kenosha to Iron County, and even from states as far away as Texas, I enjoy the challenge of custom tailoring solutions to my clients and their goals. One of the most common mistakes I see is investors who think what worked 20 years ago is still the best strategy today. I help in these situations by explaining in clear terms what may be appropriate for their situation and why. Educating clients so that they have confidence in the fact that their investments are working for them is one of the best parts of my work.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, I earned a bachelor’s in business management and spent much of my professional career with American Family Insurance in Madison, where I learned the importance of properly protecting what is most important.
Outside the office, you can often find me spending time with my wife, Shayna, our son, Cooper, and Stella, our dog. When possible, my wife and I enjoy traveling. We've been lucky enough to have visited seven countries together already and hope to explore many more in the future.
