Learn MoreI've been asked to write a bio about myself, which I find hard to do. The reason this is hard for me to do is because my work does not revolve around me. My work revolves around my clients and making sure I take care of their investment needs as professionally and promptly as possible. It's our obligation.
I believe that if you could ask my clients to tell you one thing they like about working with me, they would say that I'm here for them. Of course, the financial part of our work is important; however, the interest we have in our clients' lives and genuine concern for them as a person is just as, if not even more, important. If I don't take the time to invest in them as a person, why would they consider letting me assist them with their hard-earned money and investments?
People sometimes ask, what type of client is our best client? Another tough question, because I don't want anyone to feel they can't be helped by us. Many times, I hear the common misconception that you have to be rich to invest. This is, quite simply, not true! Among my clients are the people just out of school investing in their future for the first time, people reaching middle age and wondering how they can retire and help kids pay for college, and folks that are approaching or even into retirement. The message is, you are never too young or too old to have an interest in preparing yourself and your family for the future.
Our office is located in Central Minot, right on Broadway and across from the local hospital. We are a two-person office with my branch office administrator, Megan Zellers, and myself. Megan handles much of the administrative needs of the office and I handle the investment-related needs. We are a great team, and both love the show "The Office"!
