I joined Edward Jones in 2006 after spending 20 years as controller/CFO in the construction equipment industry where I was also a certified public accountant.

I believe it is important for me to understand what is important to my clients – the "why" behind their goals. I then help them build a strategy for reaching those goals that also addresses their comfort with volatility. We then partner with them throughout the journey because "life happens".

At Edward Jones, in addition to helping our clients reach their long-term goals, I enjoy assisting newer financial advisors both in my region, where I have held numerous leadership positions, and in St. Louis where I go back regularly to be what we call a Visiting Vet.

Our ideal clients will be those who:
1. Have a long-term focus
2. Understand the need for professional guidance
3. Value and act on our advice.

My branch office administrator, Connie Etheridge, who has been part of my team for over 10 years, is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our clients.

I am active in my church community, having served as youth coach in church leagues and on hospitality committees. I was also the volunteer golf coach for a local high school.

My wife, Jeanne, and I were both born in Baton Rouge, graduated here and received degrees from LSU. We have two daughters.
