Beginning as a personal trainer, I quickly learned how important it was to not only hone my craft as a trainer, but to create and develop relationships with my clients. After years of living in gyms and witnessing the inner workings of the fitness industry, I decided to purchase my own functional fitness business. I had always known I was going to be a business owner and when the opportunity presented itself I jumped at it.
My favorite thing about gym ownership was that every day I got to surround myself with people who were striving to be better. I made it a goal to constantly seek out people who were in the business of making progress and to become a sponge, learning from their habits and developing my own personal bank of best practices. I’ve since transitioned away from gym ownership but dozens of the relationships I’ve made are still intact today.
Physical fitness has always been a passion of mine but along the way I picked up another passion; financial fitness. In one way or another, finances are tied to all parts of our lives. Everyday, people get up and leave the ones they love to go out into the world and provide a living for themselves and the people they care about. For me, it’s about providing for my wife, Christina, my daughter, Madison, and chocolate lab pup, Boomer. Money is emotional. Sometimes money feels like a blessing and sometimes money feels like a burden.
As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, my duty is to help ease the feeling that money is a burden. Having a plan is key. We use an established process that starts with a strong foundation. As the saying goes, you really can’t know which way you’re headed until you know where you’re at. From there, we partner together to achieve the long-term goals that are most important to you.
If you’re someone who is striving for progress, I would love to talk to you about optimizing your financial plans. If you would like to find out more about how we work together, please feel free to contact me.
