A native North Carolinian, I was fortunate to begin my career in the financial services industry at an early age. A keen interest in the stock market, combined with a passion for helping other people, led me to Edward Jones in 1992. Taking the absolute best care of my clients and always focusing on doing what's right, is the mantra I live by. I view my clients as friends and caring for them is the most rewarding aspect of my work. As a financial advisor, forming deep relationships with my clients and understanding what is most important to them allows me to create strategies to help them build their wealth, protect their wealth and to transfer their wealth to the next generation or charities.

Because of my experience and knowledge in the financial services industry and my focus on client interests, I have been recognized for many years as one of the top financial advisors in the U.S. at Edward Jones. I have also trained and mentored countless Edward Jones financial advisors in the area.

As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in business administration, I have also earned Series 7, 63 and 66 registrations, life and health insurance licenses, as well as the AAMS™ professional designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Making my community a better place is important to me and I have dedicated both my time and resources to numerous charitable and service organizations. I previously served as president of the Raleigh Lions Club and also served on the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Lions Clinic for the Blind. My family and I are members of Christ Episcopal Church in Raleigh, NC.

In our free time, my wife and I enjoy attending live music concerts and our daughter's volleyball matches. I also enjoy offshore fishing, working out and spending time with my family at the beach.
