I have never heard an obituary or eulogy include information from someone's financial statements, nor have I seen pictures of their assets in a memorial slide show. Wealth is more than money and things. It includes the relationships, memories, experiences and the impacts we have on others. It is the legacy we create during our lives.
People assume that being a financial advisor is about numbers, investments, budgets and plans. While true, it is much more about people. Your success will be driven by all the decisions you make, not just the investments you own. What makes you happy? That is the result we are after. That is what drives me and my team. We seek to inspire you to do the things you will be glad you did in hindsight.
It starts with understanding you – your motivations, desires, fears and biases. Our established process helps you organize, qualify and set priorities for your most important goals. We then partner with you throughout your life to keep you on track and adapt to an ever-changing world.
From the dot-com bubble to the Great Recession and the coronavirus, I have helped my clients successfully navigate challenging times. Knowing what to do is only a part of the equation. A great financial advisor must also be able to communicate and lead clients, often involving decisions that are scary and may seem counterintuitive at the time.
I earned my BS from the University of California, Davis in 1996 and my MBA from Southern Oregon University in 2020. I also received the Outstanding Student Award for achieving a score of 300 on the MBA Major Field Test, the highest score possible. I hold the CFP® and AAMS™ professional certifications.
Most powerfully, we bring the resources of one of the largest financial services firms in a completely personalized package – like it was built just for you. I hope you will join us.
