In 2001, I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor, opening the third branch office in Johnson City.

My primary goal is to help individuals and families reach their long-term financial goals, whether that be preparing for retirement, saving on taxes or helping send a child or grandchild to college.

I graduated summa cum laude from East Tennessee State University in 1998 with a bachelor of business administration. In 2012, I obtained the CFP® professional certification.

Other than a brief stint away from the area after college, I have lived in the Tri Cities area my entire life. In September of 2002, I married my wife, Misty, and in March of 2008, we had our daughter, Lauren. We enjoy many things away from work, but mostly we like to play golf and spend time at the lake in the summer. Lauren loves to play golf as well. I also like to give back to the community by serving through our church and serving on the stewardship committee for YoungLife in Bristol, TN.

Together, with senior branch office administrators Mary Knowlden and Allison Young, we strive to provide an unmatched level of service to clients. Everything we do is designed to understand and serve the unique needs of each of our clients.
