I enjoy working with clients on a face-to-face basis to understand their goals and risks, as well as creating personalized strategies to help keep them on track to achieve those goals. I am committed to helping them realize their long-term goals and making adjustments along the way if those goals change.

I graduated from Northwestern in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, worked at Cozzini for 14 years and started working for Edward Jones in July of 2006. I have attained the AAMS® designation. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.

I have been married to my beautiful wife, Mary, for 30 years. We have three children, Zach, Maddie and Kenzie, and have two adorable little granddaughters, Ruby and Karly. I have been a volunteer on the Algona Fire Department since 2005. I enjoy fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

My branch office administrator, Betty Shillington, has 19 years' experience. She is married to Dave, and they have three children, Amy, Amber and Brent, and five grandchildren. Betty volunteers and is active in the community. Please don't hesitate to call her with any questions you may have.
