We value personal relationships based on a deep understanding of your unique financial needs. We develop a solutions-based approach tailored to your individual goals to help you become an informed investor and confident in achieving your goals.
Our ideal client is an individual investor or business owner who is serious about creating and implementing a long-term plan to achieve their financial goals through diversified, high-quality investments. Relationships are key, and in our view, meeting face-to-face is ideal. We strive to be accommodating to the challenging needs of our clients' personal and professional lives by offering a variety of services.
Kelly Phillips, the branch office administrator, and I are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible. She works in all facets of administration and client service to ensure our clients are completely satisfied and informed.
On a personal note, I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. After 24 years in agribusiness, I chose to pursue a personal passion for investing and helping others by joining Edward Jones in 2008.
I earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ professional designation in 2011. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS™ designation to those who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics, and agree to pursue continuing education. I also qualified as a Certified Kingdom Advisor in 2018. The CKA designation is granted to experienced financial advisors who successfully complete a biblically wise financial advising curriculum, pass a comprehensive exam, and commit to a set of ethics, rules, and standards that align with faith-based principles.
Bonnie and I were married in 1985 and we have two daughters – Olivia is married to Zack and they have one son; Kaylee is an account manager with International Paper and she also competes in equestrian events. We have lived in the Mount Vernon area since 1985 and attended Faith Baptist Church since 1999. My personal priorities are faith, family and fitness, followed by sports, particularly the Buckeyes.
