I was first inspired to become a financial advisor when I saw how unprepared many people, including my parents, were for retirement. Watching my parents and my friends’ parents struggle financially through their later years of life drove me to question how I could help others prepare for and navigate retirement so they, hopefully, would not have the same burdens. That also led me to open my first Edward Jones account in 1987 to help secure my own future.
Our office is comprised of Taylor Clinton and myself. When you enter our office, you can expect to be greeted with a smile. We focus on personalized service and believe that is what sets us apart, giving our clients a sense of belonging.
I joined Edward Jones in 2009. Prior to joining Edward Jones, I had 17 years' experience handling financials for small businesses. I currently hold Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations as well as an insurance license. I earned the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™*) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2012.
After joining Edward Jones in 2009, I was asked, and accepted, to become a limited partner with the firm in 2015.
My wife, Pat, and I regularly attend church locally. We serve our community in many local organizations, and on a national level we help the Alzheimer’s Association raise money to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Pat works as a physical therapist locally and teaches Pilates in her spare time. Together we strive to help people with their physical and financial health.
Together as a team, Taylor and I care about our clients and their families and are here to serve them. If you are looking for a team who will look out for you and your family, we would like to meet you.
*The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
