In 1998, while still a junior at West Virginia University studying mechanical engineering, I accepted an offer from the United States Navy to become a Nuclear Power Officer. With the following sign-on bonus, my father, a local banker of 25 years, recommend I invest part of it, which I did with a little known company at the time called Edward D. Jones. Subsequently, investing became a hobby, then a passion and then eventually a career.
Eleven years later in 1999, I jumped on an opportunity to share my investing passion with others and became a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Since then, I feel privileged to be a meaningful part of my clients' lives and have enjoyed witnessing what their financial security allows them to do for themselves and others.
During the past 20 years, I’ve developed and refined an established process to help others clarify and achieve the financial goals important to them. Some of the main elements of our process include:
- Developing client comfort with various wealth strategies by educating them on investing basics.
- Assessing client risk tolerance and financial means.
- Utilizing Edward Jones resources.
- Partnering with a client’s accountant and estate attorney to deliver a comprehensive strategy.
- Identifying and implementing a personalized wealth strategy.
- Ongoing monitoring and strategic adjustments.
I mainly serve clients needing assistance with wealth utilization. Our clients often come to us during times of transition, such as retirement or receiving an inheritance. Subsequently, I enjoy the challenge of developing complex financial strategies to navigate a client’s financial journey and family legacy.
If you would like an introductory appointment with me and my team, please e-mail or call our office and Tracy, Georgine, Jessica or Frank will set a time for us to meet.
