I work with a very select group of high-net-worth individuals, families, executives and business owners to help them achieve financial independence, their desired lifestyle and legacy wealth. I do this by understanding what is important to them, using an established process to help them build personalized strategies to reach their goals and partnering with them throughout their lifetime to help keep them on track.

Providing comprehensive wealth strategies involves more than just investment guidance. I work with my client's CPAs, attorneys and other professionals to address the entire scope of financial concerns, including tax mitigation, estate considerations and wealth protection strategies, as well as charitable giving, to tailor a strategy that is appropriate for them and their family.

I received my bachelor's degree in business economics from Wofford College in 1989. In 2010, I obtained my Series 7 and 66 Securities registrations. I am registered in over 20 states and I serve as a life insurance producer, providing insurance products to my clients in addition to wealth strategies. Our firm has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting our branch office so that we can help our clients reach their long-term financial goals.

In 2022, I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board's requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP Certification Examination and the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.

Community involvement is very important to me. I actively volunteer and serve with the Fort Mill Care Center, Children's Attention Home, YoungLife York County, Victory Sports Outreach and Habitat for Humanity York County. I have been married to my wife, Kim, for 32 years and we have two adult married children and our first grandson, who just arrived in May 2022! We have made our home in Fort Mill since 1997, where we also attend First Baptist Church. I became a limited partner at Edward Jones in 2015 and I've been deeply serving my clients here for 13 years. Lisa Bright is my Sr. Branch Office Administrator, and she has been serving Edward Jones clients for 17 years.
