Thanks for taking a minute to learn about my branch team. We help our clients work toward their serious, long-term financial goals by first understanding their needs and then implementing tailored solutions.
We want to be an important part of our clients' lives. Helping clients have successful financial lives is a big job, and we love doing it. "Let's go make the world a better place!" is how I end every staff meeting.
It's been a very interesting 20-plus years! I've led my clients through three recessions, a tech bubble, the Enron scandal, the September 11th attacks, a global financial crisis, oil shocks, trade wars and a global pandemic; yet, during this time, our business has flourished. I've qualified to attend the Edward Jones’ annual Managing Partner's Conference 13 times, an event reserved for the firm's top 400 financial advisors. How did this happen? Good decisions are made when we focus solely on long-term client goals.
My educational background includes receiving a Bachelor of Science in economics from Saint John's University in 1990 and an MBA in finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1994.
What kind of clients are a best fit for my office? Typically, my clients are fun and light-hearted people who have been serious savers their entire lives. My clients are generally retired, within five years of retirement or a family member of a client.
My father, Don, started this office in 1986; I joined in 1998, and he retired in 2003. Because of our 35-plus years of service, many of our relationships are now with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation. We love helping successful families continue their prosperity.
I've held leadership roles in Kiwanis, the United Way, my parish council, our public library and the historical society. I've also coached youth soccer and football for many years. My wife, Catherine, and I have three daughters and one son. My personal interests include fishing, hunting, football, reading and hockey.
