Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. My passion for serving those in need began at a young age as an Eagle Scout and continued in my professional life as I served in the US Army and then as a local police officer.

In these roles, I developed skills to understand the needs of the people I was serving which enabled the unit I led to work together to construct and implement a solution to fill their needs. These skills were further developed at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini) as I studied under the Army ROTC program in addition to my regular scholastic studies. I learned some of the key Army Values of selfless service, integrity and respect and applied those to not only my career but my personal life as well.

During my time in the Army, I developed a passion for CrossFit. Upon separating from the Army, I decided to further my knowledge in the sport and earned a coaching certificate. This allowed me to spend time sharing my knowledge and helping others achieve their fitness goals.

After separating from the Army, I worked for over six years as a local law enforcement officer in a suburb of Chicago. The profession gave me an avenue to serve others in their time of need. While in law enforcement, my wife and I expanded our family with three amazing kids. My transition to Edward Jones gives me the opportunity to help people in a new capacity and one that I feel is more proactive than reactive. I will continue to carry with me my values of selfless service, integrity and respect.

At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to.
