As a child, I was introduced to the concept of investing by a teacher of mine. She explained different types of investments and we formed teams of students to participate in the Stock Market Game. The concept fascinated me, and I continued to learn about investing in my free time.

After the 9/11 attacks on the US, I was determined to serve in the military. Initially, I joined the Air Force ROTC program in college, but by 2005, I was growing impatient to serve. So, I left college and ROTC to serve on active duty in the Marine Corps. Shortly after I joined, I was able to begin investing.

I chose to become an Edward Jones client because I appreciated the personalized service and the accessibility of my financial advisor. After 10 years as a client and 12 years of service in the Marines, I told my financial advisor I was leaving the Marine Corps to spend more time with my family. She then invited me to apply to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones. I couldn't wait!

Now, I leverage the invaluable lessons I learned from my time as a Marine and the insight I received from being on the client side of the relationship to serve my clients in a unique way.

My team and I maintain a small book of business in order to partner with a select group of clients. Our process begins with a discovery session to make introductions, learn what is important to you and answer questions you may have. We then use an established process to develop personalized wealth strategies to fit your needs and partner with you throughout your life to help you manage all aspects of your financial picture.

Outside the office, my wife, Jamie, and I enjoy time outdoors with our four children. We particularly enjoy backpacking, camping and hunting. We are also active in our church and in our children's school and youth programs.
