In my previous career, as a high school basketball coach, I used to teach three principles to my teams to help us be successful:

- Adopt an attitude of service.
- Be patient, but persistent.
- Make good decisions.

The application of these principles is not limited to the basketball court, however. They have continued to guide me since 2013 as an Edward Jones financial advisor.

Adopt an attitude of service.
Our branch team strives to adopt an attitude of service for our clients. We focus on meeting their diverse needs with positive professionalism and courtesy on a daily basis. We intend for our attitude of service to permeate beyond our branch and into our community. I serve on the board of directors for the Hannibal Regional Healthcare System and the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. I am a past president of the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteer with numerous youth sports programs.

Be patient, but persistent.
It is important that we understand what is most important to our clients. Then, we will follow an established process to build personalized strategies to help meet their financial goals. We help to provide discipline and guidance to remain focused, especially during those times when it is difficult to be patient. We work persistently toward our clients’ long-term goals as we partner with them through out their lives.

Make good decisions.
In order for us to help clients make good decisions, we listen to understand our clients’ comfort level with risk. We help to build a strategy that balances that comfort level with pursuit of their goals while discussing protection from the unexpected.

I was raised on a family farm here in northeast Missouri, and enjoy nothing more than getting to know the families of our region and partnering with them to reach their financial goals. I’d like to get to know you and find out if we would be a good fit to partner with one another. Give me a call at 573-221-1302 to start the conversation.
