I began my career with Edward Jones in 2007 as a financial advisor in Maple Grove. I became a limited partner at Edward Jones in 2015.
I first became interested in investing when I was 19 years old. After running my own business during college I earned enough money to pay my way through school debt free. I talked with the Edward Jones financial advisor in my home town and he helped to plant a seed in me that is still growing today.
Growing up in a small town in North Dakota, with parents that grew up on farms, I learned the importance of working hard, valuing deep meaningful relationships and making a difference in people's lives. In my work as a financial advisor, I believe in a holistic approach that begins by understanding and clarifying your expectations and goals.
Whether your goal is to retire early, educate your children, manage your income in retirement, or save money on taxes, I will work with you to understand what is most important to you, use an established 5-step process to build personalized strategies, and partner with you throughout your life to help you stay on track. I am known for my ability to simplify clients’ financial lives by helping them consolidate accounts where appropriate and keeping them informed so they understand their financial strategy. Helping clients achieve their financial goals is truly an honor and a responsibility I don't take lightly.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Diane, since 1999 and reside in Plymouth. Together we have four incredible children. The kids are active in basketball and soccer. We enjoy boating and getting outside to walk and bike on the many trails in our area. It is important for me to serve in the community as a coach and we actively volunteer in our church. We are passionate about supporting ministries and nonprofits.
Andrea, my branch office administrator, has 11 years of industry experience. She began her career with Edward Jones in 2009. She enjoys running and is a hockey fan.
