Allowing someone into the world of your finances can be deeply personal, and it is important to select someone with a wealth of practical knowledge, personal experience and passion for people to be your trusted advisor.
I have a passion for helping those who feel fearful of investments or money matters to become empowered to understand how it all works in non-technical terms. When fear and misunderstanding are gone, we are free to make the best long-term choices to achieve our goals, whatever they may be. I strive to make sure my clients feel heard and understood and treat every person with respect, without judgement and with a sincere and heartfelt interest in your story and dreams for the future.
Before coming to Edward Jones, I earned my CPA license and assisted individuals, families and businesses with accounting and taxes. It was then that I truly understood how creating, documenting and executing a financial strategy can create positive effects for my neighbors in the community. With a passion for helping others create and walk a financial path customized to their needs and desires for their lives, I took the leap to Edward Jones where I saw the tools, resources and client-centric approach that would help me realize my vision for helping others.
To better serve my clients, I earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification. To gain certification, a financial advisor must complete a CFP® Board Registered educational program, pass the CFP® examination and background check, and agree to comply with the CFP® Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.
On a personal note, I was raised in Granbury through high school and then graduated college from Texas A&M University with my bachelors and master's in accounting. My husband, Adam, and I decided that we wanted to move back to Granbury where we are raising our precious daughter, Ashlynn.
If you are searching for a financial advisor, I invite you to experience the Edward Jones difference: face-to-face meetings and one-on-one relationships, right here in Granbury.
Sincerely,
Audrey C Dake
