One of the things I remember growing up was my dad always said, “Pay yourself first”. He always had his own business, he never worked for a company with benefits such as a pension or a 401K. He worked hard saving and investing his money. When he retired, he had a long, happy retirement. He had financial independence.
I became a financial advisor because I wanted to help people who didn’t have my father’s lead to follow. I have learned people want and need education on the importance of investing. I love working with people who are passionate about creating a better future for themselves and their loved ones. I came to Edward Jones after spending two decades at a large financial services firm. During my time there I became securities registered. I left Corporate America because I enjoy helping individuals and small businesses, like my dad, with their own personal financial goals.
Before we invest your money, my goal is to understand what is important to you. I will use an established process to help you select investments that will fit with your goals and within your tolerance for risk. We will partner together throughout life to help you stay on track. I want to help you make smart financial decisions.
My team includes an extraordinary branch office administrator, Jenny Pugh. Jenny works beside me every day. She has over 10 years of financial service industry experience. She is the special sauce in our office. She keeps your needs, from an administrative standpoint, on track and current.
In my free time I spend time with my husband, Erik. We have two, four-legged children (dogs) at home. We also have two adult, human children, who live locally. They are both married and we are new grandparents. We love spending time with all of them! We have water front property up north where we spend time in the summer. I enjoy traveling, running and refinishing furniture (shabby chic). All of this keeps me busy when I have a little time away from my Edward Jones practice.
