Ever since I was a kid, two defining traits have guided me; a deep curiosity for how things work and an insatiable desire to help. As a kid, I remember tinkering with a fishing reels and alarm clocks to fix whatever was broken. As an adult, I'm often the guy at the gathering who picks up after everyone and makes sure the guests have what they need. Turns out, this life of curiosity and service is a pretty good fit for my role as a financial advisor.
Our clients believe that a high level of personal service, a comprehensive approach and a partnership with a financial advisor who takes the time to understand your complete situation is the best way to live your financial life. We get to know your family, then finances and finally, the future you want to create for yourself and those you care about. Then we get to serve, implementing custom strategies with a team that often recognizes you by the sound of your voice when you call.
I enjoy my work and have a passion for helping families get organized, properly invested and focused on their long-term financial goals. With over 25 years of experience and the CFP© and AAMS© designations, I've brought time-tested investment principles to hundreds of families. If you’d like to explore what this experience could mean for you, please reach out and schedule a meeting.
In addition to work, my wife and I are supporters of education and community. We've served on the board of our local school district foundation, Rotary Foundation and been active with our local community college foundation. I've also served as president of the estate planning council for SW Washington.
When not working, our family loves to travel and explore. Our daughter, Emily, lives in Boston and is taking pre-med courses and our son, Nick, is a pretty good left-handed pitcher, so we spend lots of time watching baseball. On weekends, we can often be found near mountains or lakes. Most days each week, I get up early to exercise.
