Before coming to Edward Jones in October 2008, I served in the United States Marine Corps as an aircraft rescue firefighter at 29 Palms, CA, and in Iraq. I specialized in vehicle, structural and aircraft fire and rescue/recovery missions. In 2004, after completing my contract with the Marines, I began working as a Department of Defense contract fire officer and military trainer in Iraq until October 2008.
I attended Flathead Valley Community College where I earned an Associate of Arts, Liberty University where I completed a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in economics, and the College for Financial Planning, where I received the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation*.
Within the community, I have served on multiple non-profit boards such as the Kalispell Regional Medical Center (Logan Health) Foundation, CASA for Kids in the Flathead, Northwest Montana Veterans Food Pantry, Easthaven Baptist Church, Montana Christian College and the Flathead Marines.
Personally, I am blessed with two children, Asher and Addilyn; our two Corgis, Dash and Violet; and my biggest supporter and wife, Amy.
*The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS™ designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
