Three reasons I believe we should build wealth: to spend it, live generously and build a better family tree. The last one impacts me because my mom immigrated in 2003 for that reason. Having four young children, we learned to live frugally and adapted to society. However, it just wasn't enough to prepare us for what's to come five years later.

The 2008 Great Recession devastated millions of families like mine. Many uncertainties crept in regard to finances. That is when a financial advisor reached out to ask if someone had our best interest. That began my relationship with the firm called Edward Jones.

When I am not at the office, I love spending time with my family. We like to go to the gym in the morning and watch Netflix at night! One of the better nights is when we order pizza and a movie!
