My love for investments and saving for retirement started when I was 18 years old. Before I was in the business, my father was my financial advisor. He made it mandatory for my two sisters and me to start saving for retirement at an early age. He also had a way of making investments fun and easy to understand; I strive to do the same thing for my clients. I have a strong passion for working with pre-retirees saving for retirement and retirees looking to get help with their retirement income.
My favorite days at the office are when I meet with clients to listen and learn about their goals and dreams, and then put together the strategies to help make those goals and dreams come true. I want to get to know my clients' whole families and partner with them to help keep them on track to meet their family's goals. I want them to say, "That was fun!" at the end of an appointment.
I am a graduate of Rochester Mayo High School and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. In 1999, I began my career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Rochester and became a limited partner in 2011.
Born and raised in Rochester, my husband and I make our home here. My husband, Don, is also an Edward Jones financial advisor. We have six children: Jack, Sam, Tony, Jenny, Kristina and Jeremiah; and four grandchildren: Rory, Ryan, Nora and Palmer.
We are all active in the community. I am a member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and a member and past president of the Rochester Exchange Club. I frequently volunteer at my sons' schools and speak in the area high school's finance classes.
