Experience and Background
1. Who I Am:
Not just a financial advisor, I am a blessed and grateful husband, father and son. My life-long partner is a professor at a local university and also a practicing PA. I have four children; A college-bound son, a high-school-aged daughter and two preschool-aged daughters. We attend and volunteer at a local church, weekly.
I am an Army veteran; a non-commissioned officer that served in the US, Korea, Germany, Croatia, Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
I was a public educator for eight years, teaching the subjects of geometry, US/NC history and world history. My peers awarded me the title of 'Teacher of the Year' in 2010.
What motivates me most is community improvement: My experiences and data suggest that's the best way to bring meaning and abundance to life.
2. Who I Serve:
I help local business owners and families with creating financial strategies so they can focus on the areas of their life that bring them joy and meaning. My practice includes business owners, corporate executives, business professionals and multi-generational families who have accumulated assets and need help developing a strategy to transition with confidence, retire comfortably and to serve future generations with a meaningful legacy.
3. What I Provide:
a. Personalized service
b. Behavioral coaching and guidance through critical-thinking practices
c. Financial organization, growth, protection and transfer strategies
4. What I Seek in a Client:
a. Driven by goals
b. Serious, long term investor

5. My Philosophy:
The cookie-cutter approach to investing is not my thing; I prefer creating financial strategies tailored specifically for each of my clients according to what's important to them. Life happens; so, it's important that we stay true to our long-term approach of diversifying with quality investments so we can adapt to those surprises in life we don't see coming.
