Observing my mom teach elementary students in Seminole County for over 15 years, I always admired her passion towards the importance of education and helping others. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to follow in her footsteps and uplift my community through education, compassion and understanding.

While I get my kind spirit from my mom, I get my work ethic and perseverance from my dad who grew up in India and moved to the U.S. in his twenties. He is now a successful financial advisor with Edward Jones, and I chose to follow in his footsteps. I deeply admire the way he has changed lives in the community, and I want to continue that legacy.

I was raised in Winter Springs and then attended the University of Florida, receiving a bachelor's degree in information systems. Returning to central Florida was important to me because of my family and the great community I grew up in. To promote prosperity in my local community, I serve on the executive board of the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce.

When I am not building relationships, I enjoy traveling, indulging in world cuisine, practicing yoga, spending time with my rescue cats, Lilo and Miso, collecting plants and volunteering.
