The mentality that drives me each day in the office is the sentiment that no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. My passion is to connect deeply with my clients, and out of that relationship – the understanding of their unique goals and fears – I am able to best provide tailored financial advice and strategies. When asked what I most enjoy about being a financial advisor, without hesitation, my response is the relationships I am able to build with my clients. Before I was a financial advisor, I was a pastor for almost nine years at a large church in Hamilton county. As a pastor, I loved serving, leading and connecting deeply with people, and as a financial advisor, the same personal drive to know my clients and care well for them fuels all we do in our branch and is what matters to me most.
I proudly serve a variety of clients. Some are families in the middle of saving for retirement and planning for college. Many others are seasoned investors who have already entered into retirement; more complex conversations around tax efficient estate considerations and income preservation are what matters most. Regardless of the situation, I strive to first know my client well, and then tailor my guidance to meet their unique situation. I truly love what I get to do!
I love my family. I have the privilege of being married to my beautiful wife, Lauren, and between us we have four wonderful children – Ethan (10), Stella (8), Kathryn (8) and Layla (6). They keep us on our toes and fill our home with noise, but also a lot of love. We live in Pendleton and love our community and are active at Parkside Church where we attend regularly.
I finished my B.A. at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana while double majoring in business administration and pre-law in 2007. I hold the Series 7 and 66 registrations, AAMS® designation and Indiana insurance licenses. I love the outdoors and am a big fan of the Cubs, Colts and the Fighting Irish.
