Our Impact

Growing together
We’re investing in our associates' development and career growth by offering both e-training and in-person learning to enhance industry knowledge and help us serve clients more completely. We’re proud to be No. 1 in the industry for most CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® or CFP® designations*, with more than 4,500 in the U.S. field and home office as of Dec. 31, 2024.

Holistic well-being
Our comprehensive benefits package now offers Headspace, a new critical response tool with 24/7 mental health support for associates and their families, addressing critical gaps in prevention, access and service. In addition, The Edward Jones Disaster Relief Fund helps associates recover from events like wildfires, hurricanes and pandemics.

A firm for all
Our Better Together Summits and ongoing programming are opportunities to build lasting impact. These experiences bring external experts and voices from across the firm together to help associates develop new ways to support each other and serve our clients. In 2024, we hosted nearly 15,000 associates during events throughout the year designed to strengthen our cultural understanding and enhance connections firmwide and within departments, regions and markets.
*CFP Board owns the marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® (with plaque design) in the U.S.
Serving deeply in Atlanta, Georgia
Serving deeply means caring for more people, more completely. For our colleagues, we’re creating new ways of working that foster collective success.
Uniting in the eye of the storm
In the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, our home office Crisis Care Team coordinated with scores of Edward Jones branches across the Carolinas to activate the Disaster Relief Fund, providing critical assistance to colleagues directly hit by the storm. The Crisis Care Team connected direct payments to associates who lost their homes and provided detailed lists of emergency need items and drop locations where people could make donations.

Onboarding with Jones Start
With data showing a rise in attrition within the first year of hire, Edward Jones needed to overhaul the onboarding process to better support new hires. Jones Start was formed to create a stronger and more accountable onboarding system that focused on culture as much as it did logistics. The impact was immediate, with a sharp increase in retention benefitting teams across the whole firm.

Teaming up
25-year firm veteran Todd Danley and his daughter Allison are standing out as a success of Edward Jones’ new FA Teaming model — a branch model that supports two or more financial advisors working together to serve the same book of business. Todd explains “a huge benefit is each of us knows that if one of us needs to be out of the office, we fill in for each other. We’re all partners on this team, and we take that partnership to the next level by covering for each other when one of us is out.” Though we’re still in the early stages of scaling, we have more than 2,293 FAs in new practice models which includes 119 FAs in FA Teams.
