Edward Jones Trust Company Model Paragraphs

When our mutual clients would like to name Edward Jones Trust Company (EJTC) as trustee of their revocable or irrevocable trusts, we ask you, their estate planning attorney, to consider including the EJTC Model Paragraphs in their trust documents to allow us to serve them more effectively.

Edward Jones Trust Company Limited Durable Power of Attorney Paragraphs:

While EJTC generally does not accept the duties of attorney-in-fact or agent under a general power of attorney, it will consider accepting the duties under a limited power of attorney in which its duties are limited to those described in the Limited Durable Power of Attorney Paragraphs. EJTC will only serve as attorney-in-fact or agent under a limited power of attorney when it is also serving as trustee of the client's trust.
