Long before I became a financial advisor at Edward Jones, I was a client first. While I was working in various roles in sales, IT consulting, mortgage financing and pharmaceutical specialty sales, I have always been interested in retirement planning and goals. Through my professional experiences, I developed a desire to help serve my community by joining Edward Jones.

At Edward Jones, we focus on serving the financial needs of individual investors of all ages and financial means. We have built our business by treating our clients as we would want to be treated, a simple idea that still makes sense in today’s complex marketplace.

My wife, Devon, and I have called Asheville home for 20 years. I enjoy hiking, running, biking and the mountain life. Devon and I feel fortunate to be able to raise our son, Ben, in this paradise of outdoor activities and great schooling options like the North Buncombe one he is in. I am an avid runner, triathlete and biker who loves to spend time with my family, as well as reading and helping manage a small family farm. As a community member, I served as chair of the Woodfin YMCA for the last six years, along with volunteering at Manna Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.

In 1995, I graduated with a degree in business administration from Goshen College. Ten years ago, I met with Edward Jones to explore financial advising as a potential career move, but officially joined in 2022. Having completed over 400 hours of credentialing (Series 7, Series 66 and Insurance exams), I have over half a year of Edward Jones client training. I look forward to collaborating with families to meet their long-term goals.
