I became an Edward Jones financial advisor because I wanted to apply my skills and experience to help clients achieve the financial goals that are important to them.
I began my financial services career in 1998 as a teller at Trenton Savings Bank while attending Lehigh University. I subsequently worked my way up through the ranks at global investment management firms, including Merrill Lynch, BlackRock and Allianz Global Investors, and improved my skills by earning the CFA designation and completing executive coach training.
In 2018, I found myself at a crossroads. I had left financial services when my partner and I completed a business purchase the prior year. While I had long dreamt of being a financial advisor, it was important to me to be at a company whose investment philosophy and organizational values were compatible with my own. I needed to be able to take care of clients in a holistic and thoughtful way, that would leverage my coaching skills and investment background. I knew I’d found the right firm when I learned that on the wall of every Edward Jones branch is a quote from the founder’s son, explaining a career decision he had made, which concludes “And money has never been my God.”
Now of course, money is important, but what is more important is what you do with that money, or rather—what that money does for you. In that spirit, I coach my clients to assist them in aligning their financial lives with their personal values. Along with my Branch Office Administrator, Shari Swansboro, my team is dedicated to building deep, meaningful relationships with our clients and delivering attentive, personalized service. Our goal is to be the trusted partner at the center of your financial life.
