My journey in finance began nearly thirty years ago in a credit union setting where I first began to develop a passion for helping others with their financial needs and goals. When an opportunity arose at Edward Jones, which I believe to be one of the finest financial firms in the nation, it was an easy decision to join the Edward Jones family in an administrative and operational capacity. In this role, I found myself both enthused for the work I was doing and eager to learn more and assume greater responsibility and career aspirations. This drive led me down the path toward becoming a financial advisor.
For more than a decade, I have partnered with my clients utilizing a team approach that is both down-to-earth and results driven. My success has in many ways been a result of my genuine care for the people whose lives I touch. I have had the privilege to work with clients through some of their most difficult and rewarding life events. I dedicate myself to servicing clients in a personalized way, whether it be exploring options with a client after they have lost their job, supporting a bereaved client through the challenges of estate-related matters, or working with a couple creating a strategy to retire early.
As a mother to four adult children, one of my greatest joys is helping young families invest in the future generation through college savings plans. As a former board member for a local chapter of the Business Professional Women Foundation, I enjoyed reaching the next generation of women in the workplace to achieve their aspirational goals. Now, as a part of the client solution leadership team, I use my leadership skills to mentor others in the field towards excellence in the customer experience.
