Prior to partnering with Edward Jones, I performed as a concert violinist around much of the world. My love for music waned, and I left the industry shortly after returning to the United States. I joined Edward Jones and found higher purpose in helping people achieve their long-term goals.
I received a Bachelor of Music in violin from Hope College in 1999. I then continued my violin studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England, ultimately receiving their orchestral conducting fellowship post. Upon returning to the U.S., I met my wife at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music.
As a financial advisor, I invest in understanding my clients' goals before providing crucial guidance. I am personally rewarded at that emotional moment when people learn where they stand and how to achieve previously elusive goals. Those rank among our most rewarding moments in our client relationships.
Our branch team and client community volunteer monthly at Shared Harvest Food Bank, sponsor a Children's Hospital Service Project, host a Back to School Supply and Thanksgiving Food Drive and provide fresh produce at the Edge Teen Center. We donate to Breast Cancer Research and support Edward Jones participation in the local Walk to End Alzheimer's Event.
I enjoy performing violin in various amateur orchestras, traveling and cooking world cuisine. I live in West Chester Township with my wife, Naoko, and our three cats and dog.
Our senior branch administrator, Cheryl Summe, volunteers through church and local projects. Cheryl spearheaded a grassroots movement during the pandemic providing meals to 2nd and 3rd shift hospital staff and first responders in Greater Cincinnati. She lives on the Eastside with her rescue dog and dedicates herself to providing the highest service level possible.
Working with CPAs, attorneys and other professionals, I help individuals, families and business owners determine the most appropriate financial strategy.
