I have been an Edward jones financial advisor since 1998. Prior to joining Edward Jones, I had a 35-year career as a community banker, including 29 years as a bank president/CEO in four different banks located in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. My background in banking has helped me understand the importance of building a personal relationship with each client family. I value friendships. Together, we plan, we share our dreams and our goals, we face challenges and we celebrate achievements. I create tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.

I believe Edward Jones stands out from other firms because of the way we value personal relationships. Our one-on-one approach creates a comfortable environment where my clients know that I will always act in their best interest.

I have worked with Erin Albright, my branch administrator, for over 20 years. We are a team. We both value personal relationships with our clients. In addition, we both feel that it is important to give back to the communities we serve, and we are involved in various volunteer efforts. For example, I have been a member of Rotary International for over 55 years and I've served as finance chairman of my church for more than 20 years.

I have been married to Sue for 54 years. Our son, Scott, is an attorney and lives in Wichita with his wife, Tonya, and daughters, Belle and Phoebe.

Serving as a financial advisor, I have a few basic rules:
* Build friendships. Earn respect and trust.
* Always tell the truth.
* Always act in the client's best interest.
* Manage expectations.
* Maintain frequent contact/communications.
