Following college, my 26-year Army career took me across our country and around the globe. I had many assignments, including tours of duty in Vietnam and The White House.
For the past 25 years, I have built a practice as a financial advisor in the Birmingham metro area. I've learned that it's important to invest my time in understanding your goals before you invest your money. It's also important to understand your risk comfort level so we can balance that with the steps necessary to achieve your financial objectives.
My ideal clients are those who want to carefully and thoughtfully work towards financial goals that range from preparing for or living in retirement, sending children to college or for estate considerations. No two scenarios are the same and neither are the approaches to mapping out the strategies for achieving those goals.
I'm inspired every day by the people I'm so fortunate to work with and meet. My branch office administrators, Lois Flowers and Gilda Wilkerson, are my not-so-secret weapons. They strive to provide an unparalleled ideal client experience to all of the people we serve.
On a personal note, my wife, Judy, and I reside in Hoover. Our two children, Brian and Pamela, are grown and live in North Carolina and Tennessee. When not working, I sing second tenor in two choirs at my church. And when not in town, you will find me working off my travel bucket list.
At Edward Jones, our valued proposition drives our established process to build personalized strategies to help you to achieve your goals. Let our team show you how we can partner together to make a difference.
