I grew up on a family farm in Nacogdoches, TX, where I acquired a strong work ethic and learned the value of a dollar. My father was a banker for 30 years. He taught me many financial strategies and I was able to see how he helped countless individuals in our community.

Since starting with Edward Jones in 2001 I have learned to apply this knowledge in order to help business owners, executives, families and retirees create strategies and stay focused on their goals. My job as a financial advisor is to partner with my clients while navigating important decisions. Using the skills I have learned as a horse rider, combined with our established process, allows me to guide and encourage my clients and ultimately set them up for success.

I earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University. In addition, I have earned the AAMS® professional designation along with numerous leadership coaching and mentoring roles within our region.

My wife, Jill, and I were married in 1994 and have four beautiful daughters, Rebecca, Allison, Grace and Claire. We have carried on the family tradition and live on a cattle ranch in Rusk County. I have a passion for mentoring youth in our community and am blessed to be able to use my land to do so.
