One of the greatest things we can teach our friends, family and children is the art of delayed gratification. I learned this at a young age. I remember counting out all my coins from the lemonade stand and really weighing the pros and cons of spending that money now versus saving it for later. This gets to the heart of what I do with and for my clients.

I grew up in the Midwest and learned that hard work is what it takes to accomplish your goals. I attended school at the University of North Dakota where I majored in aeronautics and where my passion for flying and everything aviation grew even deeper.

After college, I spent my early career in Southern Colorado working for the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller. In early 2008, while working for the FAA, I heard about a small start-up in the Columbia Gorge called Insitu. At Insitu, I worked for 11 years first as an instructor teaching people to fly aircraft and then as a program manager ensuring the company products made it to the customer on time and on budget.

I am married to my husband, Ed, and we have two children, Buckley and Logan. If I am not at the office, then chances are I am with them or you can find me at the golf course. I am always looking for clients to go golfing with me.

After spending many years helping companies make money and achieve their goals, I decided to come to Edward Jones to help the individual investor.
