Have you ever sat in a class where you missed the introduction and wondered what the instructor was saying? You probably felt lost and confused.

Investment options and strategies and their terminology can look and sound intimidating and can oftentimes be difficult to navigate on your own. As a former high school Spanish teacher, I understand language barriers and am here to help you understand and further your knowledge of the investment process and the terminology associated with growing your money.

The past year has changed many facets of our lives. It has given people more time to think about their future and retirement. I believe that with the right planning and discipline, your financial goals can be met according to where you are in your life.

Originally from Sanford, NC, I moved to the Outer Banks in 2008 where I met my husband, Chris. We now live in Sanford with our three amazing daughters, Kailey, Camryn and Carra, our dog, Cinder, and cat, Krystal.

I enjoy yoga, reading, water sports and anything that gets my family outside! We grow a huge family garden each year consisting of string beans, squash, okra and tomatoes that we then can or freeze for upcoming winter months. I also enjoy making strawberry fig jelly!

As part of my community involvement, my family and I are longtime members of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Sanford, NC.
