Growing up in South Louisiana, my first exposure to Edward Jones was through a family friend who became a financial advisor. At my grandparents' house, we would all play cards, and it was during those card and dominos games that I first learned about investing and the importance of having a long-term strategy at any age. Later on, as a young working adult, I became a client of Edward Jones. My financial advisor helped me navigate through many of life’s stages: preparing for marriage, retirement strategies, home purchases and sales, and legacy considerations. Eventually, my interest in finance evolved from a personal hobby into a profession. I was excited about the opportunity to help people through all stages of their lives, and it's been a very motivating and fulfilling experience ever since.
In addition to my role as a financial advisor, I am honored to serve the residents of my community through my active involvement at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Preston Hollow, mentoring youth in Farmers Branch. I also serve our business community as an ambassador for the Murphy Chamber of Commerce and the Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce.
With a strong foundation of professional and volunteer experience, I have been able to help people from all walks of life develop financial strategies to help realize their financial goals. Using my established process, I partner with families, individuals and businesses to:
- Prepare for retirement
- Live in retirement with and without Social Security
- Develop employer retirement plans (Owner K, SEP IRA, Simple IRA, 401K)
- Discuss exit strategies for business owners (understanding what your business is worth)
- Review exit strategy options for Pensioners (understanding Thrift Savings Plans, FERS, Social Security)
It's never too early or late in life to gain control of your financial future, so contact my office to get started. I look forward to hearing your story and learning what’s important to you.
