For the past 17 years, I have been a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Prior to starting my financial career, I was a junior high and high school teacher and basketball coach in Lincoln, IL. In 2004, I launched my first office with Edward Jones in the Chicago area and in 2010, established my current office in downtown Springfield on the Old State Capitol Plaza.

In 2003, I graduated from Greenville College with a degree in organizational leadership. That same year, I also obtained the AAMS® professional designation. In 2017, I achieved the CFP® title, one of the industry's highest designations.

In 2010, I became a limited partner with the firm. In addition to building a successful branch office and receiving many firm wide recognitions, I have held an extensive list of key leadership roles within Edward Jones. Most notably, I filled the role of regional client solutions leader and currently fill multiple coaching roles as a Ted Jones Coach and a regional advanced levels coach.

My team is passionate about putting the client at the center of everything we do. We have a proven process that focuses on understanding what is important to each person on an individual basis. We are then able to execute personalized strategies to help our clients achieve their goals. Our team's proactive approach sets us apart from many other advisors. Our team makes it a priority to take a deep, personal interest in our clients' lives and focuses on helping them keep their financial house in order throughout their lives.

I live in Sherman with my wife, Janell, and three children, Audrey, Collin and Mason. I enjoy being active in the community, serving at my church and on the board of The Outlet, which provides education and mentoring opportunities to fatherless boys ages 8-22.
