One of my earliest memories about saving is the magic of a silver dollar – do you remember the big Eisenhower dollars? You see, my father was a banker and if I saved up 100 pennies, he would bring home a silver dollar in trade for me. I loved the exchange! It was such a small thing, but what a wonderful memory and a great habit to learn.
Saving and investing should align to what matters most in life. That’s what we enjoy exploring with our clients. In over twenty years, it's the ability to work together to align resources and decisions over time that keeps me coming to work. We make strategies; however, it’s how we navigate all of life’s uncertainties that makes the difference. How do you adapt over time in order to reach your goals? Who do you look to for guidance along the way?
I’m privileged to have two wonderful branch colleagues to share this work with – Sonja and Joan. Sonja’s secret superpower is baking cookies. Joan is a dog lover that has been cut off from adopting new four-legged family members! I love their ability to know each client in every call, text or email.
Ours is a mature practice, so we're careful about how we add families to our client list. Should you wish to meet, you can expect a conversation to explore whether we are a good fit. What I’ll be looking for is a clear understanding of where you’re starting from and what you want to accomplish. I’ll also be looking for ways in which we can add value beyond what you’re currently receiving.
